Meet Your Instructor
Earning her Doctor of Physical Therapy at the University of St. Augustine, she immediately emerged herself into the field of pelvic health. She sparked interest in Pelvic Health during graduate school which was the beginning of her pelvic floor journey. Since graduating, Dr. Megan devoted time, finances and a ton of passion to understand the pelvic floor and obstetrics to better serve the women in her community.
Eventually, Dr. Megan opened a holistic Pelvic Health Space in Charleston, SC in order to provide better care for those in the low country. As she continued in her practice, she heard story after story about "bad births" and women "wishing they could forget what happened." This hit deep! Women should be excited about childbirth. Ready to share their story with their friends and family. Ready to share their story with their kids as they grow up. Instead, she was hearing horror stories about the trauma that occurred during birth. That's when Dr. Megan decided something had to change!
She devoted much of her time and energy in the obstetrics world of pelvic health to help women during pregnancy and even more focus on their births. Her goal is to help you understand what happens during childbirth, choices you can make during labor and delivery, and some great tools to help prep you for "game day."
